Aged 10 to 16? – Come and try Track Racing at The HSBC National Cycling Centre!

Eastlands Velo and Sportcity Velo are youth/junior cycling clubs based at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester and welcome new riders to the sport at our weekly beginners sessions.

Our main activity is track cycling, though we also do mountain biking, closed circuit racing and cyclo cross. We run weekly beginners track sessions open to non-members and training sessions for first-claim club members at the Manchester velodrome (National Cycling Centre) for youth and junior riders from age 10 years up.  All our sessions are run to British Cycling standards and are COVID-19 Safe.

If you fancy a thrilling ride on the same boards as the Olympic stars, and you can fit on one of our track bikes (39cm or larger) come along to one of our  Beginners Sessions and give the banked track a try.

Please note: the NCC velodrome track is now closed until September 2022 for a major refurbishment project.  Members, please see our Facebook page for ongoing activities outside the velodrome
