Hi Ian
The feeling I got on Saturday was one that I last felt about 23 years ago when I took Chris to an NBMX Regional race in the North East when he was 8 years old. It was energising! When you see 80 kids with about 200 parents, friends, grannies whatever, the sun was shining, the racing was top class. This is the future for youth racing. There is no reason we can't run a series at 5 or 6 tracks all over UK.
People will travel if they have a reason and the reason here was just as you said, friendship, laughter and cut throat racing. I look forward to next year when it will be even better.

Congratulations to Matthew Rotherham who set a new Scottish and All Comers 200m Record for Youth B Boys beating the previous Record set by Patrick Galbraith by 3/10's of a second! This is good going when you remember that Chris Hoy amongst others trained and raced on the Meadowbank track as youths!!
Chris Hoys dad was watching you all, he did the results!

Isle Of Man Youth Tour – Race Report This year’s event saw 17 riders from the Eastland’s and Sportcity making the trip across the Irish sea from Liverpool on the IOM Steam packets ‘Viking’ (or know to some as the ‘vomit comet’ )

This week was the start of the hot weather it was Fab!!
With some negotiation and lots of traffic cones we extended our session on to the Velodrome roads
The TT resulted in joint winners Callum and Luke both with 70 laps each.
Well done: not far off the record

We are campaigning for a Bike park to be built in Stockport and we NEED your help. This will be a great facility for all the areas of Greater Manchester and beyond!
